Action Potential Grant Program
The FamilieSCN2A Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for SCN2A-related autism and epilepsy disorders.
The Foundation invites early career scientists, clinicians, and postdocs to apply for Action Potential grants of up to $75,000 to support innovative projects that will advance development of therapeutic treatments for SCN2A-related disorders (SRDs).
Priority will be given to proposals that investigate the efficacy of candidate therapeutic treatments, or that develop outcome measures or biomarkers for use in clinical trials.
Research that could potentially lead to therapeutic treatments by advancing understanding of cellular, molecular, genetic, and systems-level mechanisms of SCN2A-related disorders, are also of great interest.
A letter of intent (LOI) is due 1 April 2024.
